My Baby's Daddy

I failed to mention yesterday that my dear husband turned the big 3-0! We are so lucky to have such a sweet daddy. Happy Birthday Blaine!!!

well, I know I always strip down to nothing when it is lunch time and eat my peas, doesn't everyone! I guess this is how they keep Reese so clean at school, she eats in her birthday suit! Maybe everyone should try this trick, it would cut down on laundry costs:) I got this pic from one of her teachers at school, I loved it!

P.S.-I really loved her cupcake eating technique...such a lady, I guess it taste better if you smash it on you face first!

Raisin Eating Contest

My child is the fastest raisin eater I know, Blaine could not put them on her highchair fast enough, I got the biggest kick out of watching her gobble them down! She would definitely win the raisin eating contest!

So how funny is this, Blaine turned on the underground sprinkler system this afternoon so we could get a little H20 on our new plants, well Reese was playing on the screened in porch and the sprinkler kept spraying the side of the porch, I heard Blaine cracking up and when I went to see what was so funny, I saw my child LICKING the water off the screen, she was soaking wet. This baby needs to go swimming asap so she will not have to lick the porch screen or play in the water from the underground sprinkler! She cracks me up everyday!!!

supposedly I used to lick the big mirrors in my ballet class when I was little, so I guess she gets it honestly!!

We Love Ice Cream

Tonight Blaine and I thought it might be fun to take Reese to get some ice cream..ok so really I wanted some, but I blamed it on Reese! She ate it up and then decided that she wanted to feed herself, since we were sitting outside and she was already dirty from school, I let her have at it. Needless to say she had ice cream EVERYWHERE, she has really never tried to feed herself and she got the hang of it but made a huge mess in the process! I will say that we both think that she is going to be left handed, she kept feeding herself with her left hand and usually does use that hand more than the right, I think left handed people are more musical and more creative...here some some funny pics from the ice cream adventure!

I am working on teaching Reese to say Cheese and smile real big, well judging from this picture I would say she has it down!!! How about all of those teeth, she is like a baby Parana mouth!

Almost Famous

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Lucy Buffett, Jimmy Buffett's sister. I went to her book signing and got her to sign a cookbook for me and Blaine as well as one for Candice's mom, Betty! I had alot of fun and the cookbook is fantastic, I can not wait to try some of the recipes AND she delicious cocktails..as soon as baby Tyrone #2 is born!!! I had my picture taken with her and a girl from the Hattiesburg American also took our picture, I might be in the paper tomorrow!!!! I recommend everyone getting a copy of this book, great recipes from her Gulf Shores restaurant, Lulu's!!

Time Out

Is this how Time Out works at your house? Needless to say Reese is not catching on, Blaine and I tried to get her to stay in time out but we were both laughing so hard at her it was hard to keep a straight face, she is ROTTEN!!

Happy Spring

Blaine and I worked in our yard today and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL weather, it was so nice not to have rain for a while! Reese had fun too, I took some cute pictures that I had to share!

Easter Morning!

I hope that everyone had a Happy Easter! We had a great time in Jackson visiting Doc, G.G., and aunt Jenny & Leslie! Reese got lots of great loot from the bunny, she now thinks everytime she goes to Jackson she gets presents...not sure how we are going to break of of that, since my mother works part time at a Children's clothing store in Jackson Reese is always getting prizes! We spent the day at Jennys fabulous house in Belhaven, my entire family was there, all 27 of us! We took all the kids to a field on the campus of Belhaven College and let them just run until they were all exhausted, it was too cute, I got some GREAT pictures of Reese! Enjoy!

Reese's Bunny

Blaine and I decided tonight that we would bite the bullet and go have the ever so tacky but much needed for the baby book Easter Bunny Mall picture made. I know that these are not photo's that you usually have out on display, the bunny usually has on some kind of sequined vest and sitting on a terrible bench surrounded by fake flowers, HOWEVER it is my mom duty to get this pic made every year for her baby book! Anyway we thought for sure that she would be totally scared of the bunny, who wouldn't be? Think about being a 15month old and your mom handing you over to some pimped out looking life sized rabbit, it would make me cry too! Well Reese was not one bit scared of him, she walked right up to him and sat in his lap, she proceeded to stick her fingers all in the mouth opening of his costume and try to peek in ! We got our tacky picture and picked her up off his lap and she had a TOTAL MELTDOWN. She screamed and cried until we pulled out of the parking lot of the mall, she kept saying "Reese's' Bunny" it was so funny! I was unable to take her picture in the Bunny's lap, I guess they did not want me stealing their lovely "decor" ideas but here she is in the car still totally mad that she had to leave the bunny behind!

Serious Bling

So how fabulous are these shoes? Do you think they make them in an 8 1/2 adult? I think every girl needs a pair of pink converse with rhinestone's. Reese's G.G got her these and I am so in love with them! I have slightly flashy borderline gaudy taste, the more"bedazzled" the better, I have even contemplated buying my own bedazzler, or even better, my own monogram machine. I think my husband would leave me, I would monogram EVERYTHING and I am pretty sure he would get made fun of a the gym in monogrammed work out shorts! But back to the fab shoes, Reese loves them, she is always looking at her feet and touching them, I think she is going to have her mom's love for Bling!
