Pink, Pink and more Pink!!!

It's a GIRL!! We are so thrilled, I was shocked, we both totally thought this baby was a boy, once again I was wrong! She looks great, all of her cute little parts were the right size and working perfectly! Blaine was so cute, he said he really wanted a boy, but he could not quit smiling when he found out it was another girl, he is already staring to panic about buying prom dresses and paying for weddings, I told him we have plenty of time to worry about that, our first major obstacle is having 2 babies in diapers at one time, we will definitely keep pampers in business! Reese was not one bit interested in her new little sister, much less looking at the pictures, as you can see by the photos this is what she already thinks of new baby! We went out to eat tonight with Nana and Papaw to celebrate our news and sweet little Reese was out in the car ride there, she was a sweet girl at dinner, I can not believe will have another one soon!

Just because she cracks me up everyday!

Best papaw ever

We love our papaw so much, he is such a big help with Reese but he is also very handy when it comes to home improvements! Blaine and I wanted a baby gate at the bottom of our stairs to keep Reese and baby #2 from trying to climb up our stairs, as well as keeping Alex out of the trash from up stairs. I was totally blown away by his work, it looks so great, much better than anything we could have bought in the store. If anybody is interested in a great safety gate let me know and I am sure our papaw will build you one.

Big Sister in training

I have been a little worried that Reese is not going to be very excited about the new addition to our family, Blaine and I were concerned that she might not share her toys and snacks...she is kind of a diva, anyway this morning when she was having her breakfast, all of my worries to put to bed when I saw her sharing her cheerios with Alex, it was too funny. She did not mind one bit giving him a bite of her breakfast, needless to say he was super excited, everytime her hears the highchair roll around he knows he is about to get a snack. I am glad the little diva is learing to share even if it is with the dog!

Krispy Kreme

Goodmorning my Sunshine!
On our way to get a yummy breakfast

Loving her Hat
watching the doughnuts on the assembly line

We took Reese to Krispy Kreme for the first time this weekend, and she had so much fun! She was not real sure about the chocolate milk but she loved the doughnuts and she especially loved wearing the hat!

Pigtails and Tutu's

I have yet again been a bad blogger, no excuse, just plain laziness! Here is a recap of the last few weeks: I am 4 months pregnant as of Wednesday, we went to the doctor last week and heard the baby's heartbeat, it was in the 160's...pretty close to what Miss Reese's was. I am starting to think it is a boy though, I was convinced that Reese was a boy so much so that I even bought boy clothes and had to return them once we found out she was a girl, so who knows, I have zero "mom intuition" we do however find out on the 26th what baby Tyrone is and I am super excited about it! Reese is doing great, she is talking up a storm and is the total boss of our house. Her favorite thing to say is what's that / this, she loves to say papaw and daddy and she calls Alex, Al. She can say ball, bird, bus, juice, and her very most favorite thing to say is HEY. She is great at waving bye bye, and we are still working on blowing kisses. Her teachers at school think she is a genius, we think so too!

Her hair is in a very "transitional" stage, it is a borderline mullet, she finally sat still long enough to let me put it up in a pigtail on the top of her head, it looks so cute! She has tons of hair, much more than I had at 13 months, I was bald until I was 2, luckily she got Blaine's hair! I bought her her first tutu today and she LOVED it, it was the cutest thing I have ever seen, I could not resist buying it! Enjoy!
