Happy Birthday Reese!

Today my baby turned one! I can not believe that she is already a year old, time has flown by so fast! We have had such a fun few days, we had a wonderful Christmas. Reese got so many presents, she must have been a very good girl this year. My parents came into town along with my sisters and we had a great Christmas night! We had a family birthday party today, and she is going to have a birthday party in January that her friends will get to come to! We woke her up this morning filming her and singing happy birthday, she was so cute and funny, she thinks that she is going to get presents everyday day from now own since her birthday is right after Christmas. We had cake and ice cream and as you can see from the pictures, Reese loves her some birthday cake!

Busted Lip

We had our first major "boo boo" last weekend at my parents house, Reese was walking with her bottle in her mouth and fell down, and busted her lip. It bled so much and scared me and Blaine to death! Luckily she recovered quickly once we gave her a strawberry Popsicle! her battle wound was a puffy blue lip, it is almost better know, but I thought I would still blog about our first busted lip!

Is it the North Pole..No its Hattiesburg

The front of our snowy house!

Reese Refused to keep her hat on, I bet we have an ear infection in our future

My little snow bunny!

This is the park in front of our house, I love this photo, it just looks like Christmas...this picture was taken at 6:30

Another 6:30 picture!

Who would have ever thought in a million years that we would get this much snow, I was totally thinking our news team had lost their minds when they said tornadoes on Tuesday and snow on Thursday...I sure was wrong! Blaine woke me up this morning at 6:30 to see all the snow, I was very excited to see it, however I would have been just excited to see it at 9:00! We woke up Reese and bundled her up the best we could, you typically do not have snow suits in south Mississippi! She was not all that impressed with the snow, she was pretty upset that we would not let her crawl in it! Blaine was decked out in full abdominal snowman gear, camo and all, building the best snowman ever, anybody who knows him knows how competitive he is and will not stop until he is the winner! All of the neighborhood kids came to help my "big kid" with his project and as you can see from the pictures it looks pretty good! He is still coming up with ways to improve his pride and joy! Enjoy the photo's, I will post more as the snowman improves, Blaine is already talking about making him a wife and baby equipped with baby stroller and all, I think he has had to much coffee!

Does Santa live in Purvis?

We think Santa lives in Purvis, and we are pretty sure we were at his house last night! This was the craziest thing I have ever seen, there were sooo many lights! Reese had the best time, she squealed the entire time we were there! The same family puts all of these lights up every year and it takes between 6-8 WEEKS to get them all up, one of the ladies who lives in the house said that last year they had at least 50,000 people come through and look at the lights, can you image that many strangers walking around your yard? These people had some serious christmas spirit and have had it for the last 16 years...it was really fun and we took some cute pictures, although they do not do the place justice!

BIG NEWS

Reese is so EXCITED, she is going to be BIG sister! We are so happy and are expecting our new addition to the Tyrone family in July! What a surprise, we were not planning for this, but are certainly blessed that it happened. They will be around 20 months apart, so it will not be too hectic! Reese can not wait to be the big sister, she hopes it is another sister so she can boss her around! I think it is a boy, the heartbeat was much slower than Reese's was plus I have been a lot more nauseous and extremely mean the last few weeks! Please keep poor Blaine in your thoughts as he is dealing with my crazy food cravings and chaotic mood swings!

Conestoga Christmas

Tonight we had our annual Conestoga Christmas party and we had such a fun...hectic time. I can only describe the event as being in an ant bed of children! There were at least 20 kids there, ever year the kids seem to multiply! You can only imagine trying to get in and out of a restaurant at a reasonable time when you are dealing with 50 people, I felt sorry for our poor waitresses, they worked very hard! Reese was a trooper, she hung in there as long as she could, she was out way past her bed time, she passed out when we got home, we bypassed the bath and went straight to the bed! Such a sweet girl!

Fun at the Park

I have a very hard time telling those eye's no!!!!

These were Reese's new friends, they loved having their picture taken too!

Reese and I met my mom and a very dear friend of mine in Magee today for lunch. My friend Erika Floyd who lives in South Carolina was in town visiting friends and she rode with mom to Magee to eat lunch with me, I had not seen Erika in years so it was so much fun catching up with her! We had lunch and then took Reese to a park in Magee so Erika could take some pictures of her, she is a professional photographer in South Carolina, so I totally took her up on her services! We had so much fun, Reese even made 2 new friends at the park, they loved to follow us around and throw leaves on Reese, they wanted to be in all of the pictures, finally their moms came and got them so we could finish our photo shoot! I have attached some photos I took, when I get Erika's I will for sure post them, hers will be much better then mine!!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We sure did, not to mention we ate a ton! Reese had a great time and got to try several foods that she had never eaten before, however they did not settle well later that night! We went to Jackson to visit with my family since we would be in Hattiesburg for Christmas! We hope everyone has a very blessed and safe holiday season. I have attached a few pictures of Reese to kick off the holiday season. She was at her nana and papaw's house and they took these!

T-R-O-U-B-L-E

The other night Blaine and I were cooking steaks, of course Reese was in the kitchen "helping" us. I do not know if you can tell by the photo, but that is the microwave Reese is playing with. I am not sure which idiot who built our house thought that putting a microwave in an island that low to the ground was a good idea! All I have to say is that I feel quite sure we will have many surprises that turn up in our microwave..as long as it is not Alex! I guess we are about to have to come up with a plan to totally baby proof our house, or else it will be cooked Pomeranian for us!

My Sweet Skunk

So I was not kidding when I said that Reese was going to be a skunk for Halloween, but how "stinking" cute is she? Sister hated the hat and was mad that she could not crawl real good in the suit because it was a little long, but she was the cutest thing I saw all night! We had a fun night, our good friends Jason and Laura McQueen and their precious little girl Ann Parks came to see us and we went to a Halloween party in our neighborhood. Reese was a hit, most of the other babies that were her age were all princesses or fairies or something girly, Reese definitely got lots of attention, its not everyday you see a skunk with a pink bow in her "Mohawk" I had to add the bow so people would not think she was a boy..that happened to me the other day in the grocery store and it has traumatized me ever since. It was a short night we had a tired skunk but we had a great time.
Today is Usm's homecoming we are going to tailgate and then go to the game, it is hard to believe that this time last year I was about to pop, time has flown by, I can not believe that my baby is almost a year old! Enjoy the skunk pics! Happy Halloween!!

Happy Fall Ya'll

My sister took this picture last weekend when we were in Jackson, we took Reese to the pumpkin patch, and got some of the cutest pictures ever. This one is my favorite, I do not know who she was looking at, but the picture is so precious, she looks just like her daddy in this picture! We are super excited about fall, cool weather, and Halloween, Reese will be a skunk for her first Halloween, I know it is not very girly, but once you see pictures of the costume you will totally love the idea! I am sure I will take tons to post!

Happy Anniversary!

Ok, so this is quite embarrassing, today is mine and Blaine's 2 year anniversary and I do not have a photo of the two of us on my computer form our wedding day! So it is just me today! What a busy 2 years we have had: got engaged, planned a wedding, built a house, had a baby..I am pooped! Time has flown by, but I guess when you are having fun it goes by even faster! Happy Anniversary Blaine, I LOVE YOU!! We need to get some more wedding pictures!

Future Cheerleader!

We had a fun weekend, We went to our sweet friend Caroline Claytons birthday party on Saturday and had such a great time until Reese decided to swallow a leaf, yes a leaf and then she proceeded to choke and projectile vomit all down my arm! I guess she had never seen a leaf since we do not have any at our house since we do not have any trees and she must have thought that if it was that much fun to play with, it must be more fun to eat! We had a good time and were so glad we go to see Miss Caroline on her birthday! We went to the USM game that afternoon and had so much fun, Reese came with us for a little while until Nana and Papaw got back in town. Here is a cute picture of Reese in her cheerleading uniform, Blaine was throwing her up in the air and she LOVED IT! I am glad there are no leaves close to where we tailgate!

Mommy's pajamas

How funny is this? These pajamas that Reese is wearing were MINE, these jammies are atleast 30 years old, I think it is so funny that she can wear them, and she loves them. My mom brought them to me last time she was in town and I am so glad that she saved them!

Lazy, Lazy, Lazy!

Well, I am officially a terrible blogger! There is no excuse for my laziness, I have had plenty of excitement going on, but just have not brought myself to blog about it..I officially turned 30 on September the 19th, my husband and wonderful sisters helped plan a fabulous birthday party for me equipped with Bee Gees and all. We had so much fun, and I can honestly say that a night out is much worse the next day after you turn 30!

Reese is crawling all over the place, she is the fastest crawler I have ever seen, sister does it like it is her job! She can pull up and loves to stand up in her bed and hold on to the side. Her and Alex are finally on the same playing ground and he usually hides from her because she likes to use his tail as support when she is trying to get somewhere faster!

My dad had a stroke on September 1st, My mother had come to stay with me for a few days and she had not been at my house 30 minutes when Jenny called and said that she had rushed dad to the emergency room at St. Dominic's in Jackson. I drove mom that night back to Jackson so the whole family could be with my father. Anybody that knows my dad will totally appreciate the fact that he was probably cooking a hotdog in my parents kitchen when he fell out, we have told him for years his "hotdog concoctions" would kill him, and this last one almost did, however do not worry after he laid on the floor for a good 20 minutes, managed to get himself up call my sister, HE ATE THE HOTDOG! How funny, I asked him why he ate it, and in a very Bobby Berryhill response he said, " Pumpkin I was Hungry" I was cracking up in the hospital room. He is going to be fine, he is going to have to have heart surgery to repair a hole in his heart, but he will be back to eating hotdogs in no time, just kidding, those days are over, he has to lose a mandatory 40 lbs, and until hotdogs are considered a diet food, it is going to be salad and fish for him. I got to spend some "quality " time with my sisters, I spent the night with Jenny every night, keep in mind that she has a queen size bed, I am close to 6 feet tall, and she is the kind of person where if any of you body parts, feet, hands, knees, etc..are touching hers she wakes you up to make sure you move it!

I have to say the icing on the cake was one night Jenny and I were just stupid tired, could not eat another bite of hospital food and were in dire need of a glass of wine, so we decided to go to Walkers and get a quick bite and a few cocktails. We left the restaurant around 11:00 headed home to finally get some sleep (provided I did not touch her with my knee while she slept) and as we got to her car we noticed that her passenger side window had been busted out! We were seriously parked across the street. we could see her Volvo from out table that we were sitting at OUTSIDE. Thanks Volvo for that great alarm that never went off. So we managed to get the walkers kitchen staff to help us bust out the rest of the glass and clean it up off the street, Jenny called the police and we waited on them to get there. Only Jackson finest would take 45 minutes to get to us when you could literally pogo stick to the precinct from where her car was parked, however if I was speeding down Ridgewood Rd. the would drive 100 mph to pull me over.

All in all it was a funny trip, I am just glad my father is going to be ok, the worst part is I have no pictures from any of these events, so I will just post one of Reese in her new pajamas and my awsome birthday cake!

Boyfriend already?

I forgot to mention in my earlier post that Reese did make a serious LOVE CONNECTION with our very good friends Mike and Emily Dykes little boy Jack, they had so much fun, I think Reese might have scared poor little Jack, she tends to be a little aggressive when it comes to the love department...a trait that she definitely got from her mom. They were soo funny, I have a feeling we are in for serious trouble in a few years, lucky for us we love Jack and he would make a great boyfriend for Reese, I have a feeling she is going to be the one who will not be able to keep her hands to herself! Poor daddy, he is going to have many long nights chasing after yucky boys!

GO EAGLES!!!

Reese got to go to her very first Southern Miss game this past Saturday! She had so much fun tailgating with all of the grown-ups. She was passed around all over the place, it was a little too hot to take her into the game, so she just played under the tent with all the other babies! She really loved watching the eagle walk with daddy, I am pretty sure we have a little eagle on our hands! Here is a cute picture of her and daddy at the Eagle walk and her with daddy and his good friend Donnie and his little girl Riley!

My Beauty!

OK, so maybe I am being a Little biased, however I am pretty sure I gave birth to the prettiest little thing! I mean could she get anymore beautiful, she even makes a snotty nose look pretty! I must pat myself on the back, Blaine and I are not very good a managing our finances, we have horrible patience, I could not follow a recipe to save my life, and I still have to use my fingers to add and subtract, BUT we are good at making pretty babies!

Little Bowhead!

Our House is finally getting back to normal, Alex is on the mend, hopefully he will get his cast off tomorrow. He is walking / dragging his cast great! We had a successful doctor visit Friday, Reese's ear infection had cleared up, so no tubes as of right now! We had a very nice relaxing weekend, no company...it was GREAT! Friday night we were in the bed by 9:00, the highlight of the night was the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, which we both fell asleep before it was over! Saturday we were so excited about the dog and pony show they were having in our neighborhood. It was a great little find raiser for the Southern Pines Animal Shelter in Hattiesburg, and anybody who knows me knows that I will participate in anything to help out animals! We just knew Alex was going to win some prizes, at least a sympathy vote for being in a cast. Well, I got up early Saturday got dressed, cleaned up some, and then got Reese ready. I gave Alex some of his anxiety medicine because I knew he was going to get way too excited with all of the dogs across the street. Well, the morning did not turn out as planned, the minute we got outside, Alex went BALLISTIC, he started barking at everything with a pulse, needless to say he did not win any prizes and his morning was cut short. We ended up having a fun time after we put demon dog back in his room. Reese loved to see all of the dogs, and they even had a petting zoo, she was not too impressed with all the goats, but she sure did love the baby bunnies! The weather was nice later than afternoon so we went to the park across the street and took a few pictures of our smiley baby, I thought I would share!

O-U-C-H!!

Well, as it turns out Alex did not have to have ACL surgery, it is torn but not severe enough to repair, however he did have to have Luxtating Patella surgery, apparently his knee cap slips in and out of joint. He is in a cast and can not get comfortable, needless to say we had a long night. My mom is in town helping out with Reese while Alex is on the disabled bench, I must say having a dog with a cast is a lot like having a teething baby. He cried all night long, and it just broke my heart. He was so funny when we picked him up from the vet, he was still very stoned from anesthesia, he looked like a giant cotton ball with a cast. Please keep sick puppy in your thought s today

Poor Puppy

Well, it seems that Mr. Alex has torn his ACL and is having it repaired on Thursday, I did not even know dogs had ACL's. I am sure this is a very simple procedure, however he will have to be put to sleep and with dogs his size it is much more dangerous to do this, so please keep our furry friend in your thoughts on Thursday. The doctor said that it is a long operation and he will have several weeks of recovery, not to mention physical therapy. How funny is that, a Pomeranian in physical therapy, I am sure not very funny to Mr. Alex! I will keep everyone updated on his poor little injury!

Ready for Cold Weather

I tried Reese's jacket on to make sure it was going to fit in the fall, we both agree that we are TIRED of hot weather and are ready for fall! Does it get any cuter than this?

My Little Movie Star

Reese is already famous and she is only 6 1/2 months..just kidding however a friend of mine who works for the local newspaper used Reese's picture for a hospital advertisment. I thought it was so cute and just wanted to share with everyone.

Look Who Can Sit Up

We have been practicing sitting up with Reese and I think she has just about got it down, this makes me nervous because I know that she will be mobile very soon and this is not only bad news for me but not looking to good for Alex, once she is on the move all bets are off and Alex is going to be the first thing she goes after..not so much him as his tail, she thinks it is so funny and the bigger the handful of hair she can pull out the better! We have been lucky that he has been very patient with her, but he does give me looks that say "how much longer do we have to keep her" I guess to him she is like a really big squeaky toy that grown-ups play with!

Miss Smiley Face

Last night I asked Miss Smiley face to show me her "new chompers" that is what we call teeth around the Tyrone house, and these were the faces that I got. How funny is she, I think in one picture you can see one little tooth sticking out! She was in such a great mood last night, I think it is because we got to move over to the stage 2 baby foods which are much better, they are blended..last night Reese had Hawaiian Delight, that consisted of bananas and pineapple, Blaine and I both agreed add a little vodka and it could make a great beach drink! We have also been experimenting with a sippy cup, I really think she likes to chew on the mouth piece, it must feel good on her gums. There was more apple juice on her and Mr. Alex (the dog) than in her mouth, oh well at least she is holding it by herself.

Happy "Late" 4th of July

Happy Late Fourth of July, I know I am a little late posting, we have been super busy and time got away from me! Here are a few pics from the fun long weekend!
