OK, so maybe I am being a Little biased, however I am pretty sure I gave birth to the prettiest little thing! I mean could she get anymore beautiful, she even makes a snotty nose look pretty! I must pat myself on the back, Blaine and I are not very good a managing our finances, we have horrible patience, I could not follow a recipe to save my life, and I still have to use my fingers to add and subtract, BUT we are good at making pretty babies!

Little Bowhead!
Our House is finally getting back to normal, Alex is on the mend, hopefully he will get his cast off tomorrow. He is walking / dragging his cast great! We had a successful doctor visit Friday, Reese's ear infection had cleared up, so no tubes as of right now! We had a very nice relaxing weekend, no company...it was GREAT! Friday night we were in the bed by 9:00, the highlight of the night was the opening ceremonies of the Olympics, which we both fell asleep before it was over! Saturday we were so excited about the dog and pony show they were having in our neighborhood. It was a great little find raiser for the Southern Pines Animal Shelter in Hattiesburg, and anybody who knows me knows that I will participate in anything to help out animals! We just knew Alex was going to win some prizes, at least a sympathy vote for being in a cast. Well, I got up early Saturday got dressed, cleaned up some, and then got Reese ready. I gave Alex some of his anxiety medicine because I knew he was going to get way too excited with all of the dogs across the street. Well, the morning did not turn out as planned, the minute we got outside, Alex went BALLISTIC, he started barking at everything with a pulse, needless to say he did not win any prizes and his morning was cut short. We ended up having a fun time after we put demon dog back in his room. Reese loved to see all of the dogs, and they even had a petting zoo, she was not too impressed with all the goats, but she sure did love the baby bunnies! The weather was nice later than afternoon so we went to the park across the street and took a few pictures of our smiley baby, I thought I would share!

O-U-C-H!!
Well, as it turns out Alex did not have to have ACL surgery, it is torn but not severe enough to repair, however he did have to have Luxtating Patella surgery, apparently his knee cap slips in and out of joint. He is in a cast and can not get comfortable, needless to say we had a long night. My mom is in town helping out with Reese while Alex is on the disabled bench, I must say having a dog with a cast is a lot like having a teething baby. He cried all night long, and it just broke my heart. He was so funny when we picked him up from the vet, he was still very stoned from anesthesia, he looked like a giant cotton ball with a cast. Please keep sick puppy in your thought s today
