Green Beans and Bathing suit

For Memorial Day eve, we had a little neighborhood cookout, there were lots of babies, most of them much older than Reese, but that was not going to stop her from wearing her new bathing suit. She looked so cute, she even had the cover-up that matched. I thought for sure she would love the water since she loves baths so much, well she was not too excited about it. We stuck her feet in the baby pool and she let us now real quick that she did not like that! We ended up holding her most of the day, but she sure did look good in her "big girl" bathing suit.

Well, Reese has had all of the stage one fruits you can have, she LOVES bananas, hates peaches, and tolerates applesauce and pears. We have now moved on to vegetables, and I thought for sure she would not like beans since I do not like them. Well, I was terribly wrong, she loves green beans, and even more than that she loves sweet peas. I was shocked, they made me gag just feeding them to her, and she smiled and ate them as quickly as I could get them in her mouth. She is no doubt Blaine's child. Beans sure do make a mess!!

We LOVE Bananas!!

Yesterday we got the go ahead from Reeses pediatrician to start eating some baby food! Well, needless to say Blaine and I were so excited about this! I immediately went to Target and got every jar of stage one baby food they make. Lat night was bananas, she was a little unsure at first, but at the end she was trying to grab the spoon and feed herself. It was so funny, she would make the funniest little faces, of course Blaine tested the bananas and said they were great! My little Reese Cup is growing up so fast! She weighs 15.5 lbs, and is 25 1/4 inches long! I can not believe that she will be 5 months on the 27th, seems just like yesterday I was looking at her thinking what am I going to do with this little person who cries ALL THE TIME! We love her so much. Blaine called this morning when I got to work and said that not only were the nanners fun last night, they were even more fun this morning in her pamper, poor Blaine, nothing like waking up to nanners in you pamper!

Reese's Christening

Yesterday was such a beautiful day, we had our baby christened. Reese was such a good girl, she did not cry at all until it was picture time. We had such a sweet ceremony and them a very fun party at our house with lots of great friends and family. Blaine and I are so blessed to have such a perfect baby, she is truly the love of my life!
