We went to Disney World last week and took Reese, we had so much fun! We were sooo worn out at the end of everyday. We went to Epcot, magic kingdom, Hollywood studios, animal kingdom and downtown Disney. Reese had so much fun meeting all of her favorite princesses. We had breakfast with all of them and then had dinner at Cinderella's castle! We can't wait to go back and take Stella, she stayed in Jackson with doc and g.g. here are a few pictures from the trip!!!

Me and the Cowgirl!!!

I have been M.IA. for a few weeks, or actually a month!!! Have have been so very busy with the holidays and birthdays and weddings.....not really a good excuse but hopefully I can catch up with recent pictures!! Reese and Stella are doing great, Reese turned 3 on the 27th of December and we had a fantastic cowgirl birthday party with horses and all! Stella is 18 months and into everything, she is such a sweet girl!!! Here are a few pics from Reese's birthday, more updates to come!!!!

Halloween is my very most favorite holiday! I am super excited about my fantastic porch decorations that me and the girls did....Blaine carved the pumpkin on the witch..he did a fabulous job!! I wish we could keep pumpkins out all year round..they make me smile!

I ran a 5k this past weekend, this was the first one I have ever done. I did really good, I came in second in my age group, me and two nurses from work have been running together every Tuesday and Thursday to get ready for the race and we all did really good!! I am hopefully going to run a half marathon in February, so this race was just a "warm up". Here are some pics from the morning, Reese and Stella were there to meet me at the finish line and of course Reese immediately wanted my medal and trophy that I won..ha ha! Please excuse all the sweat...it was really a hot and humid morning!

We took the girls to the USM game on Saturday, this was Stella's first tailgating experience and she had a great time! They loved playing outside and running around with all the other kids out there, they did not go to the game, they went home with Nana and Papaw and I am sure were very very sleepy after a long day of fun!

Reese thinks that Stella is "her" baby and she wants to take care of her! Its soo sweet that they love each other so much!! We went for a wagon ride earlier tonight since it felt soo good outside and Reese had to ride with Stella and then pull her around the block.....they are best friends!!

Pecan Festival

We took the girls on Saturday to the Richton Pecan Festival and had a great....hot...time! it was fun, but sooo hot! Reese got to ride a real big horse and she had the best time ever..she was such a big girl and did not cry or want either one of us to walk beside her....i guess we are buying a horse in the near future..we had talked about it, but now now it is pretty certain she will get one soon!!!

We went to New Orleans this past weekend for my birthday! We had a great time....even if I am getting old! We ate great food, and shopped tons, and enjoyed the sights and craziness of the quarter! I am soo glad it is fall, even though it was 92 degrees outside today!! I can not wait to get all of my fall/Halloween decorations out of the attic!! October is my very most favorite month!! We went to the first USM home football game on Saturday and had a great time! The girls went to Jackson to see my parents and poor little Reese got a bad stomach bug which turned into an upper respiratory infection! She has been running fever since Friday, so I was glad that she was in Jackson letting Doc and GG take of her! We had a great time tailgating, and USM had a big big win!!! We are looking forward to taking the girls out there, maybe once it gets a little cooler outside, we will take them!!! We are headed to NOLA on Friday for a trip that Blaine won through Sysco and its my birthday weekend so we will miss the next USM game, but I think I would rather spend a weekend in New Orleans!! Reese got her very first haircut on Saturday! I think I had more anxiety about it than she did! She did a great job and got the cutest short little haircut! She looks like such a big girl, it made me really sad seeing them cut off her long blonde hair, but she looks really cute! Mrs.Gina did a great job and we will always use her!!

We just got back from a week long vacation in Costa Rica, we went to Austin Price and his new wife Brittany's wedding! We had a great time..we had a few mishaps, but all in all it was a great time! Costa Rica is located in central America and the native English is Spanish, needless to say we were not really able to understand most of the people there, but we did the best with what little Spanish we did know. We were in the middle of a rain forest on the top of a mountain, it was considered the "winter " there and in the middle of their rainy season, so the weather was not the best but we still got lots of sun! Blaine convinced me to do a zip line through the jungle, and i was TERRIFIED, they attach you to a harness and you just fly through the tree's VERY high up...I am so scared of heights, he was lucky to get me on the plane, but i ended up enjoying the zip line, we went tuna fishing one day and it just so happened to be the roughest day of the year according to the captain..it was so rough, we did not catch any tuna, and we got sea sick, so that was no fun but we made up for it at all the parties at night! We had an AWSOME room, we stayed in a villa where the living room opened up to a courtyard with our own private pool, the first day we got there we were out by the pool and a monkey jumped over our fence...he was cute but not nice! There are tons of crazy insects over there, the biggest spiders I have ever seen...but they were harmless! All in all we had a great time and the wedding was beautiful, we had great food, great drinks and were surrounded by great friends! here are some pictures from the week!

We went to Jackson this weekend to visit my parents and sister, the girls had a great time. They went swimming in my parents backyard, went out to eat, made pancakes for breakfast, played with all of my parents big labs, they were WORN out by the time that we left town! Blaine and I enjoyed some much needed "grown-up" time and went out with Jenny and some of her friends, we went to my favorite, Kiefers and then to F.Jones Corner and listened to some blues! Needless to say every time I play with aunt Jenny, I always wake up with a headache......we had fun, I did not get any [pics of the girls, but here is a cute one of me and the Mr and one of me and Jen!!

P.S. -If you happen to see my sister Leslie, give her a hug, her house got broken into in Oxford and her big flat screen t.v. was stolen, her laptop, and all of her jewelry including one of my bracelets from Tiffany's, pretty sad about that, but luckily she had gone on a white water rafting trip in Georgia and was not home....she has the WORST luck ever!!!

Saturday we took the girls to sweet Maddison Grahams birthday party at kamper park, it was so fun but soooo hot, mommy thought she was going to melt! They had face painting, and hamburgers and hot dogs and of course Reese's favorite, Popsicles..and apparently Stella's favorite too! Reese played on the slide and all the fun playground equipment! we had a great time and were so glad to see Maddie and her mommy Mrs. Nikki (One of Reese's teachers at school) Needless to say the girls sleep great last night after a long hot day at the playground!

My sister Jenny came into town on Friday and left today, we had so much fun, the girls were so excited to see her, but more excited to see her big golden retriever, Jake! I had a great mothers day! We took the girls swimming and had fun playing outside, I got some pretty fantastic prizes, I finally got my porch swing that I have been wanting, and Blaine got me a Reader, if you like to read this is the best gift, its like a very small laptop that you can download books on and read.its a super cool gift!!! The best gift was Blaine took the girls to get donuts this morning and let me sleep in....that was the best part!! Happy mothers day to all the great mommies out there!!

We FINALLY had Reese's birthday party this past weekend! She turned 2 back in December, but due to Christmas, my tonsils, schedule conflicts, I just could not find a weekend that would work until February, so we had it and it was fun! Keep in mind that we did have 5 inches of snow the day before, but by Saturday it had mostly melted but was very very cold! We had a smaller inflatable jump machine that we put on the porch and a bunch of yummy food and we just did the best we could with the weather we had! Reese had fun and ate lots of sugar...she did not want to sleep later that day! Happy Birthday my big girl!

The girls went to Jackson this weekend to visit Doc and G.G. and let me finish recuperating from my surgery! When we met them in Magee, Reese had on a "Rebels Rock" outfit...needless to say Blaine was looking for the closest mud puddle he could find to let Reese play in but I LOVED IT....it was so cute and funny, my mom, dad, and both sisters all went to Ole Miss and I even went there for several fun years so of course my family are huge supporters and love to dress the girls in Ole Miss clothes, I am waiting for the cheerleader outfits! Stella turned 6 months old yesterday and she is just a little ball of yumminess! She is so fat and happy, she never cries unless she is hungry, she laughs and talks all of the time! She wears 12 months clothes already...she is much shorter than Reese was at this age, and a little chubbier than she was, but everybody loves a chubby baby! The other day she said DA DA DA, of course Blaine flipped out with excitement, assuming that she likes him best, when I can go ahead and tell you that sister LOVES her mama the best!! Reese is a total daddy's girl, but Stella loves her mommy..which is totally fine with me, Reese is in the middle of the not "terrible" but absolutely horrible, awful, grumpiest "terrible" two's ever..so Blaine can be her parent of choice, I will take the chubby smiley baby anytime! This picture was taken right before she went to school and apparently it is 12 degrees outside, i would not know because i have not gotten out of the bed since the day I decided I would be happier without my tonsils ( should have seriously re-thought that decision) so I really do not know what the outside world is like! I did finally shower and have brushed my teeth, VERY CAREFULLY! Hopefully i will be able to go back to work on Wednesday, I am scared I am going to get bed sores..moral to this story is keep your tonsil's people! I will be back amongst the living soon enough, until then I will just keep updating the blog!!

So I am pretty sure that God gave us tonsils and intended on us keeping them because having them taken out super sucks....luckily I had the best "on call nurse" sweet Stella to take care of me, i guess the ginormous bottle of liquid pain medicine and green jello have helped too! My sweet mom has been here all week taking care of me and she has washed every single article of clothing in this house, I am pretty sure that if you have any dirty laundry, bring it over she can wash it up for you! She has been such a huge help, moms always make boo boo's feel better!

I have not blogged in over a month, so I have just added a few new pictures as well as some Christmas pictures! This month has flown by I can not believe that Christmas is over...I am ready for some calm relaxing weekend! Please keep you fingers crossed for me tomorrow, I am having my tonsils and Adenoids taken out..I am a little nervous, I have never broken a bone, had any kind of surgery, I have only had 2 cavities..so I am a wimp when it comes to stuff like this, especially since I have to be put to sleep! My mom will be here to help Blaine with the girls, and we will also have Nana and Papaw to help also, I am sure it will be a terrible day but I need to go ahead and have them removed, I think I will be glad I did it in the long run. I guess I will be ringing in the new year with my bottle of liquid pain medicine and a tub of jello! Cheers to that!

Reese turned 2 on the 27th, we were in Jackson for the weekend so we celebrated there, and then had more cake when we got home that night..needless to say we had two tired little girls when we were all done! We finally broke down and moved Reese into her "Big Girl Bed." Glen made the bed and it turned out sooo cute, I am still working on the bedding and pillows...it is going to be really cute, and she loves sleeping in her new bed, she really likes it mommy or daddy sleep with her! I guess this means Stella will have to start sleeping in her baby bed now..all my babies are growing up!

You really can't see the lights in this picture, but each house had put out 50 lit up bags, it was really pretty!

We had a neighborhood Christmas party a few weeks before Christmas, it was so much fun. All of the house were lit up with lights and they had a horse and buggy rides and carolers. Reese had a great time riding in the buggy, however Stella was cold and not very impressed with the horses! it definitely got us all in the Christmas spirit!

This past Sunday we had Stella Christened, it was so fun. My family came from Jackson and my sister Leslie was the godmother, and Blaine's best friend Will Blount is the godfather ( for those of you who know Will Blount, will get a kick out of him being the godfather) anyway, it was so fun and Stella was such a sweet girl. She wore the same christening gown that I wore, as well as my 2 sisters and all 15 of my cousins, the dress is 31 years old, it think that is pretty cool! We had a fun party after the ceremony, we had great food and a yummy cake, I will post some pics of the party later!

This morning I thought it would be a good idea to go to gattitown, needless to say it was hectic! We had fun, the food was actually pretty good and the building is really nice, it is like a much nicer cleaner chucky cheese! Reese had fun, she rode the train and the carousel. She really like throwing her bowling ball into other peoples bowling lanes! She won 174 tickets(thanks to mom and dad) we had a fun time, she was WORN OUT by the time we got home!

Blaine signed me up to make cupcakes for Reese's halloween party, so I decided to get creative and make kitty cat cupcakes, they were so cute, I hope those little kids were impressed because I do not cook! I did enjoy making these, I used york peppermint patties for the ears and glitter gel icing for the nose and eye's and whiskers, I thought they were too cute!

The Great Pumpkin

Today Reese had her FIRST school field trip, they went to Mitchell farms in Collins to the pumpkin patch! I was not able to go because I had to work, but Blaine and papaw went with her and she had the best time! All the kids looked so cute, they all wore matching t-shirts that they made at school with painted pumpkins on them, I was so sad I could not be there, but Blaine got tones of pictures! Reese was wild, they played on slides, played in a sand box full of corn kernals, and of course played with pumpkins, but her Favorite part of the day was playing with the big golden retriever, she named Copper( after the fox and the hound) she had a great time, and was totally worn out when she got home!

My sweet Stella is 14 weeks old, time has flown by! She is such a sweet girl, she is smiling and "talking" up a storm, she is such a good baby! She sleeps from nine at night until six thirty or seven every morning, I could not ask for a better sleeper! She has been such a little joy, she was the best surprise ever!

So my husband is a fantastic gift giver, he never ceases to amaze me with the cool prizes that he gets me! My birthday was Saturday, Blaine got me the "Macbook" I think it was a push / birthday present, it is sooo neat, but way smarter than me! If anybody knows how to operate one please let me know, I am trying to figure it out, but it is a little over my head! I love it because it is so compact and much thinner than a normal laptop, it is so portable and the best part is now Blaine and I won't have to fight over his laptop anymore!

P.S.-I just realized that I did not mention one thing about the girls..they are super cute and doing great! I will post some pics of them tomorrow.

Let me first start this post by saying that I have been without Internet for the past week, so there are many new posts below...I had lots of catching up to do! As of tomorrow at 8 am I will be a working girl again! I am starting a new job with Hattiesburg Clinic in the OBGYN department! I am really excited about this new chapter, it will be a total change of pace for me, I am used to outside sales jobs and this is going to be alot less stressful than what I have been doing, which I am super excited about! It will be hard leaving my girls, but I am really comfortable with the school they are going to and honestly I am looking forward to getting out of the house everyday and enjoying some "grown-up" conversation! Wish me luck!

Blaine probably stripped Reese down to her pamper the other day and let her play in all the water puddles in front of our house...she had so much fun but was a huge mess when she got finished! All the good parents were making their kids come inside while it rained, not us we let her run around in the rain picking flowers from other peoples bushes, she stole a rose from our neighbors rose bush, so she a little kleptomaniac and will probably get a cold from playing in the rain, are we great parents or what!

Regression

Reese's pediatrician told us that she might start "regressing" back to some old habits after Stella gets here, well she NEVER took a pacifier when she was a baby and guess what...now that baby sister has one, she wants one! She takes one to bed with her...this is the age where kids are trying to ditch the paci and my child has just now picked up the habit!!!

I had the great idea that Reese would enjoy going to eat at the hibachi Japanese restaurant, I thought she would be totally amazed by the guy cooking at our table, and would love it when they catch the table on fire, I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG!!! She hated it, she cried the whole time the guy cooked, she really hated the fire even when it was another table across the restaurant! I was only able to get this one picture, because in most of them she has her head in Blaines shirt....we are going to hold off on the hibachi for a little while!

We have been "trying" to get Reese to brush her teeth, especially now that she has a mouth full, I lovingly call it her "baby Parana" mouth, enter at your own risk..anyway she is not a good brusher, she basically sucks the flavored toothpaste off the brush, and screams more until we reload her brush, any tips on this chore?? My sweet Stella had her 8 week check up on Monday, she weighs 10lbs and 11oz, I was shocked at how big she has gotten! She was such a trooper until we got to shot time, she cried real tears for the first time, big ol crocodile tears, breaks my heart! she recovered quickly and was smiling by the time we got into the car. She is developing the cutest personality, she smiles and coo's all the time, she no longer seems like a newborn, she better toughen up if she wants to hang with her big sister!

Have you ever herd the expression "It's as hard as herding cats" WELL that was about how our "photo shoot" went this morning with the girls. I had to bribe Reese with fruit chews to sit in the chair and have her picture made, and hold her sister, she was not one bit interested in either of the two. I could get Reese to look at the camera and Stella would have her tongue stuck out, or Stella would look at the camera and Reese would sneeze real big and scare the baby, make the dog bark and cause all kind of commotion in the house, hopefully this task will get easier as they get older, I dread Christmas card picture day..is there enough fruit chews in Hattiesburg for that job, I might have to resort to a professional, or else mama is going to have to break out the wine for that day, I broke out in a sweat this morning trying to just get a few cute pictures, luckily my sister Jenny was in town to help out, she has way more patience than me! P.S.- I feel aunt Jenny's patience will be tested this week, she left today with Reese headed to Jackson, she will get to help my parents with her and see what a day in the life of me is, she got lucky though, Stella stayed with me, I do want my parents to keep Reese again and adding Stella to the mix could spell disaster!

Patience, that is what sweet Alex has! This morning I was in the laundry room and Reese was playing on the floor being very quiet, I heard her talking to the dog but I really was not paying much attention to her, until I turned around and discovered that she had pick up every piece of Alex's food and put it in his water, he just sat there and watched her and never growled or got mad that she was playing in her food, what a sweet big brother! I guess he knows that he is kind of low on the priority list right now, and is lucky if he gets food and water everyday, ( not because we don't love him, but due to pure exhaustion at the end of the day...so don't call the humane society on us, we do take care of our dog) but he will eat his food however he gets it, soupy and all!

I love it!!

I decided to ditch the fancy baby sling and buy one that was a little safer, and easier to operate! Stella LOVES it and I do to, it allows me to be totally hands free and do other things all the while keeping her close and not crying! I wore it grocery shopping and got some pretty interesting looks, it might be a little "advanced" for some Hattiesburg folks! I highly recommend one especially if you have two little ones like me, I refused to get a double stroller, that is too many wheels and takes up way to much room in the grocery isle! Here is my sweet Stella in her sling, she looks kind of crammed up in there but I guess that is how she slept in my stomach, so I guess she feels right at home in the sling! Its kind of like a purse you wear for your baby, totally genius idea!!

My bestest friend Candice turned 30 on the 15th and was having a super fun party on the coast, unfortunately Blaine and I were unable to go because we have two bambinos under the age of 2, and people really are not waiting in line to babysit both of our kids...just kidding, however it is a tuff job, anyway, since we were unable to go, my friend Taylor and I had a little breakfast at my house Friday morning, we had so much fun eating yummy food and catching up! Taylor brought over her new cutie pie, Anna Cooper, she was born 3 days after Stella, both girls have Big Sisters that were born 2 months apart, so both of our kids will be in the same grade, I feel certain that they will get into lots of trouble! We had such a fun morning playing with aunt Candice, and meeting sweet Anna Cooper! Happy Birthday Candice!

We are still alive, I have not had much time to post anything over the last 2 weeks, having 2 kids is much harder than Blaine and I had anticipated! Reese is adjusting better, she no longer looks at Stella and waves bye bye to her, she pretty much ignores her unless somebody is holding her or showing her more attention than Reese and then she gets jealous. She has been acting out a little bit more than usual, she also has a new found interest in pacifiers, she wants one like baby sister has. We taught her how to say Stella, and she screams it at the top of her lungs, its pretty cute! Stella is a sweet baby, she is much calmer than Reese was, she sleeps alot and eats every 3 hours like clockwork! her are a few pictures I have from over the last few weeks.

Baby Stella arrived on July 4th at 1:46 in the afternoon! She weighed 7 lbs and 4 oz and was 19 3/4's long. She has jet black hair just like big sister Reese did, I am sure it will turn white like Reese's did! I had the easiest labor, much better than the first time. Reese is adjusting ok, she was more interested in the band-aids on my arm from the drips than the baby, she kept saying "oh boo boo's" I think that she will get more involved as Stella gets bigger!I will post more pictures as I get them downloaded!

I know what Blaine and I are going to be doing on the 4th, we will be having a baby!! Due to preeclampsia little STELLA will be making her grand intrance 3 weeks early. My blood pressure has been really high this week and the doctor felt like the safest thing to do was to deliver the baby. My kids love to be born on holidays, Reese was 2 days after Christmas, and now Stella is on the 4th of July, should make for some fun birthday parties! We are really excited but totally unprepared, so anybody who wants to drop off a pack of newborn pampers, feel free!! Reese still has no idea what she is in store for, I asked her today what was in mommy tummy, she said ketchup..how funny, her little brain can come up with some funny stuff. keep baby Stella and all of us in your prayers for us, and please have a cold beer for me and Blaine this 4th!

We took Reese swimming this afternoon after school and she had so much fun! Aunt Jenny is in town and she went with us and she got quite the workout chasing after a very busy 18 month old! I think Reese drank half of the pool water, that should make for some interesting pampers later! She was worn out by the time we got home, I have found a way to burn off extra energy and makes night night time much easier!
